We are passionate about improving patient care. It's in our DNA. Founded in Dayton, OH 100 years ago, Standard Register established strong ties with healthcare early on. Our founder John Q. Sherman set the example in 1928 when he led the successful community drive to raise $1 million in 30 days to build the city's Good Samaritan Hospital.
The betterment of patient care has been our passion ever since. It lives on today in the community as we work with the Samaritan Health Foundation to fund the Homeless Clinic. And in our business, where every day we work side by side with clinicians and staff in all types of healthcare settings to enhance the quality of care and the patient experience.
First known for producing the clinical forms that facilitate patient care, we now use our expertise more broadly, leveraging technology and best practices to improve the critical communications that guide care, improve the patient experience and impact patient outcomes.
We help providers and payers build awareness and understanding of the preventive steps patients can take to thrive. We facilitate communication among patients and caregivers when medical events move patients from home to an acute care setting. And we manage the vital communications as patients transition from hospital to rehab and alternate care.
We recognize the failure to communicate clearly, fully and in a timely manner can negatively impact patient outcomes and impede their return to wellness. So we lend our passion and expertise at each critical point to advance patient care, and with it the reputation of healthcare providers.
